Wat is the material your using or you using stucco or just regular concrete ?
@@user-wc2mw7pj9q Portland stucco, fyi, stucco is Portland cement mixed with sand. Concrete is Portland cement mixed with rocks.🕵🏼♀️

5-05383 I drag with a stick too then back drag with the ridge edge. You know how to trim eh youngster? Or maybe your a mechanic/ old timer compared to me. Today was a 4 panel door patch, already lathed, 622 red tape, cut in half with a skillsaw 10 minute, under the threshold was ez 3 maybe 4 inch deep fill, after eisenwall brown out 2x4 legs and 3x6 head foam which went hard trowel smooth finish. Used 20/30. Happy troweling from Wall DRx San elijo HTS socal

You need a fiber reinforced surface bonding cement if you're dry stacking cinder block without mortar to hold it together. Look for cracks at the joints in a few months.

@@Guardducks fog coating is usually used to remove discoloration from scaffold joints. However there are exceptions to the rule.

Hey, I have a question, I put on Roofing and I have leftover paper from the one on the bottom, it is the thickest, my question is, can I put that same paper on the wall before putting the wire mesh.

My mom lives in Alaska she had stucco.we had to pull it off.we put hardieboard I heard it was good so we put it on.Im not sure if Snow and then the hot wealther would be good for stucco compared to Florida where I’m sure it would last long I see lots of places have stucco there

Important to know!?😮 Yes! It's an important thing to make sure that around windows and doors are probably sealed. And corners are properly meshed for strength 💪 Using EIFS systems(Styrofoam), we always put an extra piece on a diagonal on each corner. Approx(5"×12") We call them band-aids. You can do the same thing with stucco wire, but use a piece of wire lath for the band-aid. It's a problem with doors and windows when they get closed hard,multiple times, they get cracks on the corners. Sliding doors are bad for this. I rarely finish to the windows frame. I normally say away 3/8" using plaster stop,or backwraping mesh, all the way around. Then we caulk around after finishing and, in some cases, using backer-rod beforehand. Today's caulking is a lot better than it used to be,and putting on enough to make sure that it works properly is just as important. Good day, fellow Plasterer and fans of Kirk. 😊
@@petekobraoutdoors7324 howdy Peter, in the last 20 years all the windows now come with expansion joints built into the frames thus no J trim. Here in California, this method was never used except for steel doors on commercial jobs. Thankfully.

@@hardscape802 they aware made by Curry and were sold at bontool.com, seams they stopped making them? I’ve reached out to other trowel companies who said they would start making them but yet to see any results.

Good day, Mr G We have an acrylic material called flexcrete, which is very flexible and waterproof. Normally, it's for foundations, but I suppose it would work for driveway patches? Lol, maybe? I suppose if you painted that with a driveway sealer, it wouldn't stick out so much...😊
